Article Marketing - How To Keep Yourself Motivated

I have been writing articles and submitting them to various article directories for around a year now. At the outset I had a multitude of subjects to write about. After a few months however, I started to get what is known as writers block. I had absolutely no idea what to write my next article about. I am going to be writing about ways in which people can fight back when these periods of writing drought appear, I hop you enjoy the read.

I developed a stutter when I was four years of age and it continued to affect my life for the next eighteen years. After a lot of hard work I was able to "stop stuttering" and I have been fluent for the last fourteen years. I now run one-to-one speech courses where I coach other people to also eradicate their stutter. I feel I know quite a lot about the subject and found it quite easy and enjoyable to write about all aspects of stuttering.

After a while I could not think of anything new to write about stuttering, which would be of value to people and made the mistake or re-writing some of the articles using different words. Much to my ignorance I was not aware that this was frowned upon - I now realise that I should have read the article marketing guidelines at the outset - I guess I was just to eager to get started on writing those articles.

I then wrote about some of the experiences from my own life, like how I coped when my now ex-girlfriend left me and even stories about my dog!

One morning I woke up with very good intentions, I was planning on writing three or four new articles. After turning on my laptop and starting up windows I just sat there hoping that I would gain some inspiration from some where. I attempted to tell my brain to start writing but it was like my mind was frozen and could not think of any suitable or worthwhile words. The problem was that I could not think of anything to write about. I decided to go back to bed. I seem to be able to think clearer from my bed, a bit weird I know.

I decided that I was not only going to write about my own life and experiences but I would also write about my family and friends. Other areas I could write about would be:

How to promote a website

Web design

How to become a foster parent

Self confidence

Travel

Online guitar lessons for beginners

Sport

Business

These are all areas I have a great interest in and even though they are not my main line of business, the articles should be of interest to people. Most of the topics which I have listed are things which I or people I know, have had experiences with. The majority of people who have this form of speech impediment (stuttering) will have a lower self-esteem than the average fluent person - this is for obvious reasons in reality.

What Is This Thing Called Article Marketing?

While there are so many different ways to market these days, they are all in competition with one another. You want something that people will see. You want something that is different. You also need something that will capture a person’s interest and show them why they need your product. These reasons are why article marketing has taken over in the marketing industry.

Some wonder where they can exactly post their articles in order to impliment a solid and effective article marketing strategy. The way this works is you can place it on a blog. You can also place this on a website. Others register this with search engines so that when people search for what you might be trying to sell this article will pop up when they are searching. This seems to be worth people’s times as they get many hits on their website or their article wherever that article might be placed.

If you find that is worth your while you might need some tips. These tips can increase your chances of getting people to stop and read your information. That is the whole purpose after all of article marketing. Let’s look at some.

All of your articles must be absolutely unique and original. They have what is called article spinning software, but this is a crock. It’s not original and in many case, you end up plagiarizing the content. This can get you in some serious trouble.

With article marketing, you don’t have to watch your time. You can make them as long or as short as you want. Long as you can get your point across, you are well on your way to getting people to understand why they should get your item or invest in your product.

Next, and pretty much last, is to remember to make them easy to read. The average reader to below average reader will be reading these. They don’t want to have to take out a dictionary. They don’t want something to sound as though they are stupid. They want the basic facts and they also want you to win them over.  Professional writers with experience, such as those you would find in an article marketing service are usually quite good at accomplishing these tasks.

With all of the pros we have listed above for article marketing, it’s no wonder why people like this system. So if you are new to business, check this out. It’s the new way to spread the word since word of mouth is the way most people get people to buy their products.
